Can flat bar be bent?
Yes. Thinner flat bar bends in a vice or on a bending jig. Thicker sections need a press brake or heat bending. S275 has good formability.

S275 is the standard UK structural mild steel grade to BS EN 10025-2. Minimum 275 MPa yield strength, weldable and suitable for general construction and fabrication.
