Planks have nails ground flat, the rest of the nail remains in the wood to retain the authentic industrial charm of this kind of material.

Planks could have nail holes, gauges, knots, uneven surfaces, warping / bowing, stains, stamps, saw marks, varying colouration or any number of imperfections implicated with using reclaimed wood.

Can I choose specific sizes?

If you require a specific length, please contant us and we will try our best to accommodate you. Unfortunately we can't get specific widths or thicknesses. So all width will be between 50-150mm and all thicknesses between 10-25mm.

Is the wood dry?

Yes all our planks are kiln dried and then inspected before dispatch.

Is the wood treated?

All our pallet wood is untreated.

How smooth is the wood?

Although we don't sand the wood, the planks are generally smooth. You may find a nail hole or ground down nail within the plank. We personally thinks this adds to the rustic look.
