Green Treated Square Top Wooden Fence Post – 75×75mm & 100×100mm

Pressure-treated softwood fence posts with a square top, available in 75x75mm and 100x100mm cross sections. Tanalised green treatment protects against rot, fungal decay and insect attack for ground-contact use with an expected service life of 15+ years.

Used for garden fence panels, closeboard fencing, trellis support, gate posts, pergola posts, raised bed corners and any outdoor timber post application where the post is set into the ground.

Pressure Treatment

Green tanalised treatment is forced deep into the wood fibres under high-vacuum pressure. This gives long-term protection against rot and decay even when the post is buried in wet ground — unlike brush-on or dip treatments which only coat the surface.

Installation

Set posts in concrete at a minimum depth of 600mm (one-third of the post length for standard fencing). Use postcrete (rapid-set post mix) or standard concrete. Apply end-grain preservative to any cuts made on site to maintain protection at exposed cut surfaces.
