How to specify palisade fencing

A complete palisade specification states the height, pale profile (W or D) and fixing (concrete-in or bolt-down) — for example: “2.4m galvanised steel palisade fencing to BS 1722 Part 12, D-section pales, concrete-in posts.” For certified high-security perimeters, also confirm the required LPS 1175 security rating and check the manufacturer's test certificate.
