Collection: Metal Angle

Stack of steel angle (L-section angle iron) lengths on a white background

Steel angle — also known as angle iron or L-section — is one of the most versatile structural and fabrication sections, used for framework, brackets, edging, supports, gates, trailers and general repairs. Rackerman supplies equal and unequal angle across four materials: hot-rolled mild steel (S275), galvanised steel, stainless steel (304) and lightweight aluminium (6063), all cut to your length.

Equal vs unequal angle

Equal angle has two legs of the same width (from 25×25mm up to 100×100mm) for symmetrical loading and trim. Unequal angle has one longer leg, useful for lintels, ledges and asymmetric supports. Mild steel angle offers the best strength and value for structural work; galvanised resists corrosion outdoors; stainless suits hygienic, marine and architectural use; aluminium is light and won't rust.

Cut to size & delivery

All angle is supplied cut to your specified length with fast UK delivery. For load-bearing or structural applications, sizes should be confirmed by a qualified structural engineer.
