Aluminium is light, naturally corrosion-resistant and easy to work, making it ideal for marine, architectural, automotive and lightweight structural projects where weight and rust matter. Rackerman supplies a full range of aluminium sections, bar, tube and sheet - mostly in versatile 6063-T6 extrusion grade.

Aluminium sections & extrusions

Our 6063-T6 range covers equal and unequal angle, C/U channel, square and rectangular box section, round tube, and flat and round bar. 6063-T6 offers a good balance of strength, corrosion resistance and a clean finish that's easy to cut, drill, weld and anodise - ideal for frames, trims, railings, infill and architectural metalwork.

Aluminium sheet & plate

We stock plain aluminium sheet (1050 H14) and 5754 aluminium chequer / tread plate. Aluminium sheet suits cladding, panels, flooring, signage, guarding and trailer bodies, while chequer plate gives a slip-resistant tread surface.

Why aluminium?

Aluminium is around a third of the weight of steel, won't rust, and forms a protective oxide layer that resists corrosion outdoors and in marine environments - with no need for galvanising or painting.

Sizes & delivery

Aluminium sections, bar and tube are supplied in standard stock lengths, cut to length on request. Aluminium sheet and chequer plate come in full standard sheet sizes (8x4 and 2m x 1m) - sheet is not cut to size. Fast UK delivery.
