Flat panel radiators — smooth modern front, strong heat output
A flat panel radiator pairs a clean, contemporary flat face with the high heat output of a modern designer radiator — one of the most popular ways to upgrade tired old convectors. Choose single or double panel in anthracite, black or white, in horizontal or tall vertical formats. Not sure what output you need? Use the BTU calculator below.

What size radiator do you need?
Enter your room and we'll estimate the heat output (BTU) you need, then match you to a radiator you can add straight to your basket.
A guide only, based on standard Δt50 heat-loss rules. Recommendations show the smallest size whose output meets or exceeds your figure. For a full heat-loss survey, ask a heating engineer.

Which finish?
Single or double panel?
Panel depth sets both heat output and how far the radiator projects from the wall.
Single vs double panel — which to choose
| Single panel | Double panel | |
|---|---|---|
| Heat output | Lower | ~65–70% more for the same size |
| Depth from wall | Slimmest | Deeper (twin panels) |
| Best for | Small / well-insulated rooms, tight spaces | Living rooms, cold rooms, more heat in less width |
| Price | Lower | A little more |

Good to know
Flat panel radiators combine a smooth, contemporary flat front with strong heat output, making them one of the most popular designer radiator upgrades in UK homes. This range is stocked as single panel and double panel flat panel radiators in anthracite grey, white and black, across a full spread of vertical radiator and horizontal radiator sizes — from a compact bathroom flat panel radiator to a full-height living room vertical radiator. Behind the flat face, hidden convector fins push up BTU output without adding visual bulk, giving you the slim radiator profile of a premium designer brand at trade prices.
Single Panel vs Double Panel Flat Radiators
A single flat panel radiator has one panel and one set of convector fins — a slimmer wall projection and lighter weight, ideal for smaller rooms, bathrooms and secondary heating. A double flat panel radiator adds a second panel and fin set, delivering roughly twice the BTU output within the same face dimensions — the right call for living rooms, larger spaces and rooms with higher heat demand. Both configurations share the same flat, contemporary front face.
Anthracite, White & Black Flat Panel Finishes
Every size in this range is available in three durable powder-coat finishes. The anthracite flat panel radiator is the best-seller for modern interiors and pairs well with grey and neutral colour schemes. White suits traditional and neutral rooms, and the black flat panel radiator makes a bold, matt statement in contemporary spaces. All three finishes hide dust, wipe clean in seconds and resist chipping and scuffs.
Vertical & Horizontal Flat Panel Radiators
Fit a horizontal flat panel radiator neatly under a window or along a standard wall for classic proportions, or choose a tall vertical radiator to save wall space in hallways, kitchens and compact rooms while adding a striking design feature. Both formats use the same flat panel and convector fin construction, so heat output scales predictably with size regardless of orientation.
Where Flat Panel Radiators Work Best
Flat panel radiators suit living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, home offices and hallways. The clean flat front and easy-clean powder coat make it a practical, low-maintenance choice for busy family homes, rental properties, HMOs and commercial fit-outs where a slim radiator profile and fast turnaround matter as much as looks.

Sizes & Heat Output (BTU)
Each variant lists height, width, panel configuration and BTU/watt output. Select your colour first, then choose the size and single or double panel option that meets or exceeds your room's calculated heat requirement. Double panel models are the faster route to a higher BTU output without moving up a height or width bracket.
Installation & UK Central Heating
Wall-mounted using the supplied brackets and connected to standard UK central heating via 1/2 inch BSP valves (sold separately). Compatible with combi, system and conventional boilers. Installation by a qualified plumber or heating engineer is recommended — this is a structural wall fixing carrying a filled radiator's full weight, so use proper wall fixings for your wall type.
