Rebar sizes & typical uses
- 10mm rebar (T10) — light structural work: small slabs, driveways, paths and garden bases.
- 12mm rebar (T12) — the most common domestic size: beams, columns, ground-floor slabs and lintels.
- 16mm rebar (T16) — medium to heavy-duty: reinforced walls, larger slabs, footings and raft foundations.

Specification
Manufactured to BS4449:2005 Grade B500B high-yield deformed (ribbed) carbon steel. Nominal 6m lengths. Ductile and weldable, and readily cut or bent on site with the correct tools. Approximate weights per 6m bar: 10mm ≈ 3.7kg, 12mm ≈ 5.3kg, 16mm ≈ 9.5kg, 20mm ≈ 14.8kg.
Delivery & offload
Single bars delivered across mainland UK on a flat £15 delivery charge, typically 5–8 business days. As 6m bars are long and heavy, please arrange help to offload — the driver cannot carry bars to position. Need thicker bar (25mm, 32mm), cut-and-bent shapes, or a full schedule priced from your engineer's drawings? Contact us and we'll quote it.
