Security Mesh Panels – Heavy-Duty 10 Gauge Anti-Climb Galvanised Welded Wire Mesh Fencing Panels for Perimeter Security
Couldn't load pickup availability
Our security mesh panels are heavy duty 10G galvanised welded wire mesh — the anti-climb upgrade over standard 12 gauge, built from thicker 3.15mm hot-dip galvanised steel wire for security fencing, agricultural runs and any perimeter where standard 12G isn't enough. Supplied in 6ft x 3ft (1.82m x 0.91m) sheets with 50mm square holes. Free UK mainland delivery.
Heavy Duty Wire Mesh — Anti-Climb Security Fencing
Our heavy duty wire mesh is the anti-climb spec: 10 gauge wire (~3.15mm) welded at every intersection into a rigid panel, harder to cut than 12G and reinforced enough to resist bending under real load. That makes it the standard choice for security fencing panels on industrial sites, dog kennels, sheep and goat enclosures, agricultural pens and any perimeter where an intruder or animal might attack the mesh.
10 Gauge Welded Mesh — Heavy-Duty Wire Diameter
10 gauge wire is roughly 3.15mm diameter — about 26% thicker than 12G (2.5mm). That extra material makes the panels significantly stronger under animal pressure, harder to cut through, and better able to hold shape on longer spans between posts. The trade-off is weight and cost: 10G panels cost more and are heavier to handle, so 12G is fine for most garden and enclosure use.
50mm Hole Welded Mesh — Security & Agricultural Fencing
50mm square-hole welded mesh is the standard aperture for boundary fencing, security perimeters, agricultural runs and larger animal enclosures. Combined with 10G wire it becomes a serious security barrier — much harder to cut than 12G and effective against larger predators.
6ft x 3ft (1.82m x 0.91m) Panel Size
Each panel is a full rigid welded sheet measuring 6ft x 3ft (1.82m x 0.91m). This is the standard heavy-duty size for garden security, aviary bases and small-holding perimeter fencing — easy to handle by one person, cost-effective vs larger panels for smaller runs.
10G vs 12G Welded Mesh — Which to Choose
If you're deciding between 10G and 12G: use 12G for garden fencing, chicken/rabbit enclosures, decorative applications and general DIY — it's cheaper and adequate. Use 10G for security perimeters, dog kennels (larger breeds), sheep/goat enclosures, industrial fencing and anywhere the panel takes real load or attack. See our full 12G galvanised welded mesh panels range for the standard option.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between 10G and 12G welded mesh?
10G wire is thicker — approximately 3.15mm versus 12G's 2.5mm. That extra material makes the panels significantly stronger, harder to cut through, and better able to hold shape under load, at the cost of extra weight and price.
When should I choose 10G over 12G?
Use 10G for security perimeters, dog kennels (larger breeds), sheep and goat enclosures, industrial fencing, and any application where the panel takes real load or attack. 12G is fine for garden and small-animal use.
What size and hole options are available?
10G welded mesh panels come in 6ft x 3ft (1.82m x 0.91m) sheets with 50mm square holes, in single or bulk packs up to 8-pack.
Are the panels galvanised throughout?
Yes. All panels are hot-dip galvanised after welding, giving full corrosion protection on all surfaces for 10+ years outdoors.
How is delivery organised?
Palletised delivery to mainland UK, £25 flat rate, typically 2-5 working days. Excludes Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and the British Isles.
