Our galvanised welded mesh panels are strong hot-dip galvanised steel wire mesh panels in three sheet sizes — 6ft x 3ft, 6ft x 4ft and 8ft x 4ft — with 25mm, 50mm or 75mm x 25mm rectangular holes, all in 12 gauge wire. Buy single panels or bulk packs up to 50, with free UK mainland delivery.
Welded Mesh Panels — Sheet Sizes
Every panel is a full flat sheet of welded galvanised steel. Choose from:
- 6ft x 3ft (1.82m x 0.91m) — the compact size for garden borders, small enclosures, brick/mortar reinforcement and DIY repairs.
- 6ft x 4ft (1.82m x 1.22m) — the intermediate size for aviaries, run enclosures and fence infills.
- 8ft x 4ft (2.4m x 1.22m) — the standard fencing panel size, ideal for boundary runs, security fencing and larger enclosures.
25mm Hole Panels — Small Animal & Security
25mm square-hole welded mesh is our smallest aperture — the go-to for small-animal enclosures (rabbits, chickens, aviaries), rat-proof barriers, security infill panels and secondary containment. The tight grid stops small animals through it and reduces climbing points on security perimeters.
50mm Hole Panels — Fencing & General Purpose
50mm square-hole welded mesh is the general-purpose fencing choice — cheaper per panel while still giving strong containment for larger dogs, garden fencing, agricultural runs, allotment plots and boundary infill. The larger holes save weight and reduce cost.
75mm x 25mm Rectangular Hole Panels
Our 75mm x 25mm rectangular hole panels are the aviary and drainage grille standard — the elongated hole gives better clear vertical visibility while retaining structural containment. Also used for animal enclosures where you want small mammals in but airflow out, and for drainage covers over channels.
12 Gauge Wire Mesh — Gauge & Wire Diameter
All panels are 12 gauge (~2.5mm wire diameter). 12G is the standard for garden and agricultural fencing — strong enough to hold shape under animal pressure and DIY handling, without the extra cost of 10G. Every panel is hot-dip galvanised for weather protection lasting 10+ years outdoors.
Buying in Bulk — Single Panels to 50-Panel Trade Packs
Order a single panel for a repair or small enclosure, a 10 or 12-pack for a fence run, or a 25 or 50-pack pallet for trade jobs and larger enclosures. Per-panel price drops sharply with pack size — bulk-pack pricing on the 8ft x 4ft sheets can reduce the per-panel cost by 30-40% vs singles.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What sizes are the welded mesh panels?
We stock 12G galvanised welded panels in three sheet sizes: 6ft x 3ft (1.82m x 0.91m), 6ft x 4ft (1.82m x 1.22m) and 8ft x 4ft (2.4m x 1.22m), with 25mm square, 50mm square, or 75mm x 25mm rectangular holes.
What is 12 gauge welded mesh?
12 gauge refers to the wire diameter, approximately 2.5mm. It is the standard specification for garden and general fencing use — strong enough for typical loads while remaining cost-effective versus heavier 10G mesh.
What are the panels used for?
Garden and boundary fencing, animal enclosures (chickens, rabbits, aviaries), security infills, brick and concrete reinforcement, and general DIY. Choose the hole size to match your use.
Which hole size do I need?
25mm square is best for small-animal enclosures, aviaries and security work. 50mm square is the general-purpose fencing choice for larger dogs, boundaries and agricultural use. 75mm x 25mm rectangular is standard for aviaries needing better vertical visibility and for drainage grilles.
Are the panels galvanised inside and out?
Yes. All panels are hot-dip galvanised after welding, giving full corrosion protection on every surface for 10+ years of outdoor use.
Can I buy single panels or bulk packs?
Both. We stock single panels, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 packs, plus 25 or 50-pack pallet loads on the 8ft x 4ft sheets. Per-panel price drops sharply as pack size rises.
How is delivery organised?
Palletised delivery to mainland UK, £25 flat rate, typically 2-5 working days. Excludes Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and the British Isles.
