- 1 ramp fits 1 tile side. Each strip is 470mm — the length of one tile edge — so count the exposed tile edges to get how many ramps you need.
- Only open edges need them. Ramp the sides facing a doorway, walkway or open floor; edges tight against a wall are left as they are.
- Male or female? Every tile has male teeth (pegs) on two sides and female sockets on the other two. A ramp fits the opposite type — a tile edge showing pegs takes a female ramp, one showing sockets takes a male ramp — so most floors use a mix of both.
- Corners: cut one male and one female ramp in half at 45° and butt them together for a neat mitre.
- Colour: black or grey to blend in, or hi-vis yellow for a clear safety edge. Grab 1–2 spares for cuts.

Heavy-duty garage floor tiles that fit in an afternoon
These are proper heavy-duty garage floor tiles — 12mm thick recycled PVC that shrugs off tyres, trolley jacks, dropped tools, oil and water. There is no adhesive and no underlay: the interlocking teeth click together with a few taps of a rubber mallet, so a single garage can be covered in well under an hour. Because they're loose-laid, they protect the concrete beneath and can be lifted, re-laid or taken with you if you move.
Coin or checker plate, black or grey
Pick the look that suits the space. The coin-stud finish gives an all-over grippy, classic garage-showroom look that hides dust and tyre marks; the checker-plate finish gives a raised industrial workshop tread. Both come in black and grey, and because they're modular you can mix the two into a checkerboard or a bordered "island" for a car bay.
