What Is Half Round Bar?
A mild steel bar with a half-circle (semicircular) cross-section - domed top, flat bottom. Used as a handrail, capping rail or decorative top rail, where the rounded profile is comfortable to hold and looks neat over the top of railings and infill.
Sizes & Finish
20 x 10mm to 60 x 30mm. Mostly 3m lengths, with 20 x 10mm also in 6m. Supplied in mill-finish mild steel, ready to prime and paint or galvanise.
Common Uses
Handrails and balustrade top rails, capping rails on railings and gates, and decorative architectural metalwork.
