About Grade 304 Stainless Steel

304 (1.4307, sometimes referred to as 304L) is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, strength and a clean bright finish. It is readily welded and fabricated and is well suited to architectural, structural, marine, catering and food-industry applications where hygiene and corrosion resistance matter.

Equal vs Unequal Angle

An equal angle has two legs of the same width (for example 50 x 50mm), giving a symmetrical L-section used for framing, edging, bracing and trims.

Finish
