About Grade 304 Stainless Steel
304 (1.4307, sometimes referred to as 304L) is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, strength and a clean bright finish. Equal vs Unequal Angle
An equal angle has two legs of the same width (for example 50 x 50mm), giving a symmetrical L-section used for framing, edging, bracing and trims.
Common Uses
Architectural and structural framing, edging and corner protection, brackets and supports, marine and coastal fixtures, catering and food-preparation environments, balustrade and handrail fabrication, and general stainless fabrication.
Finish
Supplied in a standard mill finish. The surface may show normal mill marking or handling marks typical of structural stainless sections. A brushed or polished finish can be applied separately if required.
