About 6063 T6 Aluminium
6063 T6 is a medium-strength architectural alloy known for its clean surface finish, high corrosion resistance and excellent workability. It is readily welded, drilled, cut and anodised, making it a popular choice for both structural and decorative fabrication.
Aluminium Angle for Trim & Edging
As well as framing and bracketry, 6063 aluminium unequal angle is used as aluminium angle trim and edging where one face needs to be deeper than the other — stair nosing and step edging, panel and worktop edge trim, cladding and cover trims, and asymmetric corner protection. The clean extruded L-profile gives a neat finished edge, and the mill finish can be left bare or anodised or powder coated to a black, polished or coloured trim finish. Cut to size on request to suit your trim lengths.
Unequal vs Equal Angle
An unequal angle has two legs of different widths (for example 50 x 25mm), useful where one face needs to be deeper than the other. If you need equal legs, see our aluminium equal angle range.
Common Uses
Structural and architectural framing, edging and trims, brackets and supports, vehicle and trailer bodywork, joinery and shopfitting, and general fabrication and DIY.
