What do the A, B, C letters mean?
They are size reference designations for the tube's outside diameter (for example A = 26.9mm, B = 33.7mm, C = 42.4mm). The wall thickness of each option is listed separately in the size table, as some diameters are available in more than one wall.
What standard is the tube made to?
It is hot-dip galvanised steel tube manufactured to the outside-diameter sizes of BS 1387 (now EN 10255), the established British standard for steel tube used in fencing, structural and fluid applications.
What length is the tube?
Tube is supplied in lengths of approximately 6.5m. Cut to size is available on request - contact us before ordering with your required lengths.
Why are some diameters listed twice?
Certain diameters (33.7mm, 42.4mm and 48.3mm) are available in two different wall thicknesses - a heavier and a lighter wall. Choose the wall thickness suited to your strength requirements.
What are the delivery lead times?
Lead times are currently 3-5 working days. Tube is supplied in approximately 6.5m lengths, so please ensure suitable delivery access.
