About Grade 304 Stainless Steel
304 (1.4307) is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, strength and a clean bright finish. It is readily welded and fabricated and is well suited to architectural, structural, marine, catering and food-industry applications where hygiene and corrosion resistance matter.
Common Uses
Architectural and structural fabrication, balustrade and handrail components, brackets and supports, marine and coastal fixtures, catering and food-preparation environments, gates and railings, and general stainless fabrication.
Finish
Supplied in a standard mill finish. The surface may show normal mill marking or handling marks typical of stainless bar. A brushed or polished finish can be applied separately if required.
