Heras-Style Temporary Fencing System
Rackerman temporary fencing is the trusted Heras-style system for site security, construction sites, events and crowd control. Also known as site fencing or security fence panels, these free-standing anti-climb mesh panels assemble in minutes on thermoplastic feet joined by couplers — no digging, fully reusable and easy to transport between jobs. Buy panels, feet, couplers and braces individually to build a complete run sized exactly to your site.
Each panel is a 3.45m x 2.0m welded anti-climb mesh fence panel, available round-top or square-top. The galvanised tube frame and welded mesh infill give a rigid, weather-resistant barrier that stands up to repeated handling, while the modular design means a run can be extended, reconfigured or struck down and moved with minimal labour. It is the standard temporary perimeter for contractors, event organisers and property managers across the UK.
Build a Complete Run
| Component | Role |
|---|---|
| Panels | 3.45m x 2.0m anti-climb mesh, round-top or square-top |
| Thermoplastic feet | Hi-visibility blocks that support each panel |
| Couplers | Standard or anti-tamper clamps that join panels securely |
| Stability brace | Adds wind and stability support for exposed runs |
Typical Uses for Temporary Fencing
Temporary fencing is used for construction and building-site fencing, demolition hoarding, events and festivals, crowd control barriers, vacant property security and temporary perimeters. Anti-tamper couplers are recommended where the line must resist unauthorised removal, and stability braces should be added on exposed or windy sites to keep the run upright.
Stability & Site Safety
For a stable, compliant run, stand each panel in a thermoplastic foot, join panels with couplers, and add stability braces at regular intervals — especially on exposed runs or where debris netting increases wind load. On hard standing the feet sit directly on the surface; on soft ground, bed them level so panels stand plumb. Always follow your site risk assessment for spacing and bracing.
