Rackerman galvanised wire mesh is a versatile welded steel mesh for garden and general use — borders and boundaries, pet and poultry runs, compost bays, plant and tree protection, screens and DIY projects. With a balanced 19–25mm aperture in galvanised steel, it's strong, rigid and built to last outdoors.
Welded wire mesh (weldmesh) is manufactured to BS EN 10223-4 by resistance-welding galvanised steel wires into a rigid grid that won't unravel when cut.

What wire mesh size do I need?
Match the hole to the job: 6 to 13mm for rodents and small birds, 19 to 25mm for aviaries and pets, 50mm for general fencing and security.
Is welded mesh stronger than woven mesh?
Yes — welded joints make weldmesh rigid and tamper-resistant, so it holds its shape and will not unravel when cut.
Can I use galvanised wire mesh outdoors?
Yes; galvanising resists rust. For coastal or high-wet sites, choose PVC-coated mesh for extra life.
