The 27mm thickness gives a lighter, more modern edge than the chunkier 40mm profile, making it ideal for contemporary kitchens, breakfast bars, kitchen islands, utility rooms, bathroom vanities, desks and shelving. It uses less timber so it is easier to handle and fit, while still delivering the strength and longevity of solid oak when supported on base units or brackets at 600mm centres.

Premium European Oak

Our oak worktops are made from kiln-dried European oak, finger-jointed and edge-glued into solid staves for stability and strength. Oak is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood with a prominent grain, warm honey tone and excellent wear resistance — a worktop that can be sanded back and refinished again and again, unlike laminate which has to be replaced.

Finish & Care

Supplied sanded and ready to oil. We recommend applying 2-3 coats of a food-safe hardwax oil before installation, then re-oiling periodically — especially around sinks, hobs and heat sources — to protect the timber and keep it water-repellent. Wipe spills promptly and use trivets and chopping boards to preserve the surface.

Natural Oak Appearance

Every solid oak worktop is unique. Natural grain variation, colour tones, knots and character markings are part of the authentic appeal of real wood and are not faults. Oak naturally deepens in colour as it ages and is exposed to light.
